Everything Butter Chicago-Style Hot Dogs!!

TIME: 15 min // SERVES: 4 // DIFFICULTY: easy

These aren’t your standard dogs. We started by toasting (in everything butter, of course!) some golden & pillowy buns, layered on the classics (mustard, relish, and ketchup), and then went Chicago-style to pack just about everything you otherwise would never think would go on a hot dog (unless, of course, you're from Chicago!!) - tomatoes, pickle spears, pickle peppers, and celery salt. Get ready for the best, windy-city, bite of the day.

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • 4 hot dog buns (try our friends at Naked!)
  • 4 hot dogs (we recommend classic beef franks)
  • 3-4 oz Churn Everything Butter
  • Toppings! (Mustard, relish, ketchup, diced onions, sliced tomatoes, pickle spears, pickled peppers, and celery salt)
  1. Butter the Buns
Spoon your everything butter onto a flat top or pan, and toast the buns in the butter. Cover the buns with a heat-resistant bowl or pan to get the griddle & steam effect - this toasts, but keeps the buns soft and dough-y at the same time!
  2. Grill the Dogs
Cook hot dogs to your liking — boil or throw them on the griddle for some char!
  3. Assemble
Place dogs in the toasted buns and go to town (chicago) with all of those toppings!
  4. Serve
Perfect for cookouts, game-day, street food vibes, or just making a weekday a little louder.
