The juiciest, easiest, and most delicious Thanksgiving Turkey of your life!! All you need is Turkey, Four Herb Butter, Salt & Pepper, time, and some patience!
WHAT DO I NEED?
Ingredients
1. Turkey (16 lb bird featured in the video)
2. 2-3 Four Herb Butters
3. Salt & Pepper
Instructions
1. Leave turkey unwrapped on a wire rack (over a sheet pan) in the fridge overnight to dry out skin slightly.
2. Cover well with room temp butter, and fill over and under the skin!!
3. Season with salt and pepper over the top.
4. Bake turkey at 325 F until the internal temperature at the breastbone reads 150 F.
5. Remove turkey... and of course brush with more melted Four Herb Butter
6. Place turkey back in the oven at 425 F for 12-15 minutes to finish browning the skin.
7. Brush one more time with more Four Herb Butter, and let rest for at least 1 hour to let those inside juices settle in.
8. CARVE AND ENJOY!!
** don't overcook the turkey!! Typical rule of thumb is around 12 minutes per pound of Turkey**
