Air Fried Steak with Four Herb Butter

TIME: 30 minutes // SERVES: 1-2 // DIFFICULTY: Medium

We’re making air fried steaks this weekend for the SB! It’s super easy, just let the air fryer and our butter do all the work!

WHAT DO I NEED?

- Four Herb Butter

- Steak (Ribeye, Sirloin, or New York Strip)

- Salt

- Pepper

  1. Let the steak sit at room temp for 1–2 hours. This ensures even cooking. If you have the opportunity to prep at least one day in advance, salt your meat on all sides, place on a wire rack on top of a sheet tray, and place uncovered in the fridge. The longer you can have this sit in the fridge, the better, as the salt will penetrate the thick meat, as well as extract as much moisture as possible, which helps to create a nice, brown crust.
  2. Spread Four Herb Butter on all sides of the steak.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Air fry the steak for approximately 10 minutes. Allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately, spooning any melted butter and juices over the slices.
